Alkyone @ Blogothèque
.'We do two takes, no more, it's in the box, I'm capsized. I'm back on the road, the magic has happened and all that's left is to share it. When the traditions of yesterday become entwined with such a young and sublime voice, unheard-of tomorrows open up once again.'

Exit sign
Appearing like a gust of wind from the mountains of Edessa (northern Greece), Alkyone captured hearts with her performance and music. The performer and songwriter first introduced herself to the public with her arrangement of the traditional Greek song "Xenitemena mou poulia" (My emigrated birds), evoking an instinctive reaction and excitement on the radio and in the public. With elements of indie pop, folk and film music, choral parts and ethereal sounds, "Exit sign" creates an atmospheric world that is a joy to explore. Lyrics with vivid images convey the feeling of personal observation while capturing experiences, desires and dreams.
"I've learned to get up when I fall
for, to be found, you've got to get lost
it's all written in the exit sign"
